Happy Easter!

Yes, I am about a week late but thought I would share a few pics of the girls I took Easter weekend. Faith got to go to a really cool Easter Egg hunt and she had a blast! The Easter bunny hopped on by our house and brought baskets for both girls this year...it was so fun! :)

Happy late Easter everyone!

Oh, and can you believe Baby Grace is 6 weeks old today!? WOW...time flies!

Take time to just HUG your kids!

Life gets so busy and crazy BUT I look at my precious kids and hug them and nothing else seems to matter so GO HUG YOUR KIDS! AND, SPEND TIME WITH THEM...AS THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT AND NEED THE MOST TO BE HAPPY PLUS IT MAKES MOMMIES HAPPY TOO! :)

"Sisters"

Faith just adores her Baby sister Grace ...really she does! I am amazed at how much she loves her in the short month that we have had sweet little Grace in our family. She was born just 4 weeks ago and is such a huge part of our family already. We have all just blended so well so quickly, not that there has not been some crazy, tough moments adjusting but overall I am truly thrilled with how easy and beautiful it all has gone. Brian and I are loving having two 2 girls now and are proud parents of them both. Anyway, enough rambling for now. Here is a photo I took of the girls before bed one night last week and I just loved the look on Faith's face admiring her sister as Grace just slept away... this picture is such a sweet "moment"and I am glad I caught it!

Enjoy,
Melinda

In my daughter's eyes...

Okay, so it has been almost 1 month now that I have been a mother of two girls! There have been so many ups and of course a few moments of not so up...not that I am complaining at all as I KNOW how blessed I am to have these two beautiful girls in my life along with there Daddy; my dear husband Brian however, it is quite an adjustment and yet I truly feel like the luckiest person alive! Reality though is hardly ever a quiet moment to myself with caring for a newborn baby and also a 4 year old Big Sister, it gets crazy and hectic and tough at times BUT then, I remember what MY MOM always tells me...they are young for such a short time so enjoy every moment of it! That is when I look into my daughter's sweet eyes (both of my girls that is- Faith & Grace!) and my heart melts with the overwelming amount of LOVE I feel for my daughters and it makes ALL the crazy, frustrating, wild times ALL worth it and then some! So, here are a couple recent photos I took of my Baby Grace (she is now just about a month old-wow...time flies!) and I just look into these eyes and my older daughter Faith's eyes; my best friend and sweet little angel and remember that life is pure bliss!

Thanks for letting me vent about the good and the hard times! ;)

Hugs,
Melinda

It's just another ordinary miracle today...

It's not that unusual when everything is beautiful
It's just another ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when it's time to snow
Don't need to teach a seed to grow
It''s just another ordinary miracle today

Life is like a gift they say, wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way to give some of your own

Isn't it remarkable like every time a raindrop falls
It's just another ordinary miracle today
Birds and winter have their fling but always make it home by spring
It's just another ordinary miracle today

When you wake up every day please don't throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart cause we are all a part of the ordinary miracle
Ordinary miracle, do you wanna see a miracle?

Oooooooo

It seems so exceptional that things just work out after all
It's just another ordinary miracle today
The sun comes up and shines so bright and disappears again at night
It's just another ordinary miracle today

Oooooooo

It's just another ordinary miracle today...

song by:Sarah Mclachlan

There is a LONG lovely story behind this song BUT I will spare you the details and just say, Faith (my oldest daughter) loves, loves, loves this song and for many reasons it touches me now and at this point of my life when we have just welcomed her baby sister Grace into the world and into our family so I thought I would post the lyrics of it for you and tell you to listen to it BUT imagine Faith singing it because honestly (and sure I am biased-hehe) but Faith sings it even more wonderful. Above is a picture of my sweet little Angel Faith. And also one of her new Baby sister Grace. Does life get any sweeter than this!?

Have a beautiful day,
Melinda & Family

OH...and HAPPY 6 YEARS OF MARRIAGE TO MY DEAR HUBBY BRIAN! Your a fantastic father and husband!
